Abe's of Maine = Abe's of Shame

Has anyone had a similar experience to this?  My wife bought me a compact projector for Christmas from A of ME.  After charging once, the device won't charge again - probably the battery is defective.  We called Abe's to get some help on a return or exchange (warranty, of course).  What a joke.  Typically BAD customer service; long hold times, refused to take back the product on exchange.  We're on our own to deal with the manufacturer ourselves.  In this day and age?  Shame, Abe's!

To add insult to injury, we also called them to ask for a cable to connect to an iPhone.  "No problem, we can send you that," the man says.  Sent the WRONG cable.  Now we have to fight to get that returned too.

We learned our lesson.  Should have gone to Amazon in the first place.   Never going back to Abe's of Maine again!
